Show Services Slated Friday for Elsie Secrest Elsie Viola Kettle Secrest, long-time resident of Moab, passed away Dec. 10 at the Allen Memorial Hospital following fol-lowing a stroke. Mrs. Secrest Se-crest was an employee of tha hospital. . She was born Sept. 24, -1907 at Vernal, Utah, and was married to Omer Secrest on April 23, 1927. He died in 1951. The Secrests lived most cf their life in Moab and LaSal. Survivors are sons Art and Irvin, and daughter, Mrs. Karl (Patsy) Tangren of Moab. Mo-ab. Also surviving are sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Max Gardner, Mrs. Bud Showell of Salt Lake City; Ci-ty; Elmer Kettle, Roosevelt; ' Lester and Marvin Kettle, also al-so of Roosevelt; and Elton Kettle, Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held Friday at the LDS Church at 2 p.m. and burial will be in Grand Valley Cemetery Ce-metery under the direction of Turner Funeral Home. |
