Show Chief Ranger at Bridges Will Go to Capitol Reef Donald S. Follows, Ranger at Natural Bridges National Monument will be moving to Capitol Reef National Monument Monu-ment as their new Park Naturalist, Nat-uralist, Superintendent Bates E. Wilson, Canyonlands National Nat-ional Park announced Wed nesday. The transfer will be a promotion for Mr. Follows. Mr. Follows has served as ranger to the Canyonlands Complex for more than four years beginning his tenure at Arches National Monument. He was stationed for a time at the Island in the Sky, and finally at Natural Bridges where he acted as Park Naturalist. Nat-uralist. Mr. Follows participated in the interpretive planning for Island in the Sky, the preparation prepar-ation for the new museum for Natural Bridges National Monument, wrote and photographed photo-graphed the Arches and Natural Na-tural Bridges Visitor Center audio-visual programs and assisted the preliminary study stu-dy of the Water Pocket Fold shortly to be dedicated as a National Landmark. He will be accompanied by his wife Virgene and two children and will be making his home at monument headquarters, head-quarters, one-time site iS Fruita, Utah. |
