Progress Listed On Continuing Education Plans The proposed Continuing Education Program for Southeastern South-eastern Utah with Moab as the center, moved forward this week during planning meetings by Dr. Lloyd Dru-ry, Dru-ry, Utah State University, Logan, Utah. Dr. Drury met Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon and Wednesday morning mor-ning with C. Robert Sundwall, Superintendent and also with some members of the Committee Com-mittee for Continuing Education. Educa-tion. Dr. Drury stated that funds had been placed in the USU budget to operate the program during 1969-70. Anticipating An-ticipating the legislature will approve the funds, the University Uni-versity is preparing to operate oper-ate the program. Accordng to Mr. Sundwall, there is some hope that some monies might yet become available av-ailable to provide some classes class-es by Spring. If so, USU will initiate such classes in the month of March. It is expected Dr. Drury and others from USU will return re-turn to Moab early in December De-cember for further planning, Mr. Sundwall reported. |
