In his new position, Mi E'mMon will report directly dir-ectly to the general manager mana-ger and will be responsible respons-ible for all operational as-fneets as-fneets of the division's Lee Creek Mine and fertilizer materials plant. Mr. Edmiston is a native na-tive of Texas, where he attended the public schols in Lufkin, and graduated Ifrom the University of Texas with a B. S.' degree in chemical engineering in 1952. He joined the Frasch fculiphur Division of TGS in June, 1952, and was assigned as-signed first to the assay Idopartment and later to the Spindletop mine production pro-duction department. During the development of Texas Gulf's potash mine at Moab, Mr, Edmiston Edmis-ton worked as a project 'design engineer on the mill and associated facilities, facil-ities, and was later named .assistant imill superintendent. superinten-dent. He was transferred to the Phosphate Division in June, 1963, and was named nam-ed mill superintendent in 1964. . Mr. Edmiston resides in Aurora with his wife, Alice Al-ice and their son aid three' daughters. He is active in community affairs, and is currently serving as chairman chair-man of the local school committee. |
