S Summers spoke on behalf of the family expressing their appreciation for forthe forthe forthe the many kind deeds and words of comfort from their friends in their time of sorrow He also told of Mrs Allreds Allred's work in the church Sam Lee who lived In the Allred Allred Allred All- All red home paid high tribute to Mrs Allred as a friend and home homemaker maker He spoke of the many kindnesses she had shown him and the real affection he had for her A. J Ertel Mortuary of 01 Cortez Mrs Mary Laura Johnson Allred Allred Allred All- All red was born at Mona Utah March 2 1881 and came to Moab with her parents in 1885 where she grew to young womanhood She received her education in the Moab public schools In 1898 she was married to Wilson Allred in Moab where they made their home until 1917 when they moved to Monticello To this couple were born five sons Horace Eugene Page Carl Carland Carland Carland and Waldo All the sons living with the exception of Carl who passed away in 1955 Daughters bom born to the couple were Mrs Ila ha Robson and Mrs Julia Hyde All of ot the children were In at attendance attendance attendance at- at at the funeral of ot their mother She is also survived by two sisters Mrs Nora McConkie and Mrs Leona Dalmus of ot Moab a number of Grand children and andi anda i a host of ot friends who mourn her passing |
