Show Pioneer day with Mrs. Weagel's family of Leamington. House guests of Mr. and Mrs. Benton Boyd and family for the past five days have been Mr. and Mrs. James A. Scott and sons, Benton and Robert, of Pittsburgh Pa. Mrs. iScott is a sister to Mr. Boyd. Mr. and Mrs. Gardell Rose-quist Rose-quist left last Saturday for a week's vacation through the southern part of Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Gillam left Friday, July 20 for a two week's visit to Colorado where they plan to visit with Mrs. Gill-am Gill-am a mother, Mi3. Elizabeth Specht, and also to visit with Mr. Gillam's mother. Visitors Sunday, July 22, of Mrs. Virginia Seal and family were Mrs. Mabel Bowcn and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bowen of Riv-erton Riv-erton and LaVel Beckstead of West Jordan. Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Whiting and family returned home Friday, Fri-day, July 20, from a two weeks' vacation to Alberta, Canada, where they visited with Mrs. Whiting's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. V. Spuckmun, and her niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. R. Jessie Knight. Enroute home they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Johnson of Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fahrni and family are planning to leave Sunday, July 2lJ, for a week's vacation to Yellowstone park. Those leaving Wednesday, July 25 to spend three days at Spruces in Big Cottonwood canyon under the supervision of Mrs. Gwen Crump were RaJeana Michael-son, Michael-son, Judy Oliver, Anna Von Michaelsen, Royal Michaelsen, Jackie Sandstrom and Carol Steel. All children over the age of ten were eligible to go. Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Rub-right Rub-right and family returned home last Saturday from a two weeks' vacation in Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Draper spent July 24 visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Draper of Genola. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Foist and daughter Judy entertained Tuesday, Tues-day, July 24, at a lovely dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Guy Beckstrorn and Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Beckstrorn of West Jordan and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Throckmorton Throck-morton of Copperton. The occasion occas-ion celebrated Mrs. Foists birthday birth-day as did an outing at Lagoon Wednesday, July 25. Present wort Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Dea-kin Dea-kin of Midvale, Mr. and Mrs. Throckmorton, Mrs. Maude Dea-kin Dea-kin of Bingham, and the Beck-stroms Beck-stroms of West Jordan. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Christie and daughter Ann, and Carol Steel attended the Salt Lake Gun club Sunday, July 22. Ann also attended the club Tuesday, July 24. Tuesday she tied for the handicap.
