Show I Lions Lions' Show Is Huge Success Help of Film Folks Made Event Best In History Due to the generous coope cOoperation a. a tion lion of f John Lohn Ford director ol of Argosy Pictures Corp his tech staff and the members oJ of Sie the cast of Wagon Master the the annual Moab Lions club show was by far the greatest success in the history of the town So great was the attend ance vice at the Saturday night show I that several hundred people could not find standing room It was thereupon decided fo tb repeat the performance Tuesday night and the second show drew an equally large crowd The net receipts while not officially announced are understood to weed exceed The performances were given at 5 the high school auditorium which proved woefully quate and again poInted the need for a large municipal auditorium au at Moab The show consisted of two acts by the Lions club one bythe by bythe the high school and aid about half halfa I a dozen by the visiting stars of the Argosy company WInford I Buace Bunce president of the Lions club acted as gen general ral master of ceremonies and announced the l local cal numbers He Intro i George OBrien O'Brien who Ced the Saturday night and Alan Mowbray who was was was' the announcer for the film i folks at the Monday perform perform- ance I I IThe The Lions Lons club acts included I Ia a hillbilly band composed of Keith Bateman Bob Baldwin Charles Gerhardt Cleron Zum- Zum wait walt John IC C.
