Show i ! lar bride-i lect at the Nelson home on May 31st. A cleverly decorated umbrella centered the dining room table and was a-dorned a-dorned on either side by a beautifully beau-tifully dressed bride and bridesmaid brides-maid dolls. Favors were adorable ador-able pink umbrellas tied with silver ribbon on which was inscribed in-scribed "Showers of Happiness". Present besides the honored guest and above mentioned were Mrs. Elwood T. Johnson, Mrs. L. ; E. Burnett. Mrs. Clarence L. Anderson, An-derson, Mrs. Jack L. Thomson, I Mrs. J. Richard Tomson, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Maude i Erickson, Mrs.' Clair D. Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen and Mrs. Harry R. Erickson of Murray; Mrs. Carl A. Curtis, Mrs. Lawrence West, Darlene Morley, Dorothy Gerbich. Ann Pechina, Mrs. LeRoy Kcnnor, Ruth McKellar and Marjone Pullan. Prizes were won by Miss Pechina, Miss Pullan and Mrs. West. Miss Johnson received many lovely gifts. Dainty refreshments re-freshments were served. Miss Faye Apostal has circled June 12th as the date she will honor Miss Johnson at a clever kitchen and pantry shower. o Bonnie Jean Johnson Extensively Entertained In a whirl of gay prenuptial parties is Miss Bonnie Jean Johnson, affianced bride of J. Burton Durnford. Miss Johnson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood T. Johnson. First to compliment com-pliment the popular bride to be ! was Mrs. George Dean, who was hostess at a delightfully arranged arrang-ed linen shower at her home, 3918 So. 3rd East, Salt Lake City. Guests were office co-workers of Miss Johnson. Mrs. Elwood T. Johnson, the bride-elect's mother, moth-er, and Mrs. L. E. Barnett of Salt Lake City were special guests. Choosing May 30th to honor Mr. Durnford and Mifv Johnson at a beautifully planned dinner party at their home in Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence L. Anderson, aunt and uncle of the bride-elect. Others attending from Bingham besides the honored hon-ored guests were Mr. and Mrs. Elwood T. Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson. "Showers of Happiness" was the theme used by Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson and Mrs. J. Lynn Booth when they entertained at a miscellaneous mis-cellaneous shower for the popu- |
