Show Local Happenings ! G. S. Francis of Wellsville, deputy de-puty district governor, region 1, tu Logan on Tuesday to attend a business luncheon of the Logan Lions club. They also attended a oni' meeting of the clubs that evening. A lovely dinner parly honoring honor-ing Die birthday anniversaries of Mis. Elmo A. Nelson and her father. Homer P. Edwards, was held at the Nelson home Sunday. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. :J. Lynn Ilooth and family, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood T. Johnson and I family, Mrs. Edwards and Mr. ; Nelson and family. A floral arrangement ar-rangement of carnations and tulips tu-lips formed the table centerpiece. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards left Sunday Sun-day evening to return to their home in Roosevelt. Mrs. J. W. McConnell underwent under-went an appendectomy at St. Mark's hospital Monday. 1 Stillwater, Okla.
