Show I JUDGE T S TURNER OF DIES IN IOWA The many Moab friends of Judge T TS TS S Turner for years a resIdent of were grIeved last week to learn of his death at Des Moines Momes Iowa I Ion on November 24 Judge Turner was 74 j years ears of age and six months wasI ago I 1 to his old home in 10 1 Iowa a to live Among surviving relatives are George Franz nephew and Mrs B D DI Hatch niece mece both of and andI I I Chester Franz nephew of Salt Lake City Judge Turner held a life membership n In Orient lodge No 15 F AM A M of having been a charter member of f this lodge transferring from Beulah ledge No of Adair Iowa m in 1909 He was as the first to t be elected master of Orient anent lodge and as asSumed umed office ill in 1910 He remained an actIve member until his death Mr Turner also was a member of Bethany chapter No 9 0 E S He was elected worthy orthy in 1911 and served 18 terms tel ms He served as grand worthy patron of the Order of Eastern Star of Utah m in the y years rs 1912 and 1913 After the death of his wife which occurred In 1925 he resided alone until a few months ago a hen he returned to be with relatives in Iowa Mr Turner was an expert cabinetmaker and much of l his s skilled work Is found at Green Green- river rivel He had a wide acquaintance among the members of the Masonic and Eastern Star Stal fraternities of the state among whom he was held n in high esteem He was buried WIth Masonic rites utes m in Des Moines Momes |
