Show Third vVard Festival A Decided Success Tho Fall Festival, given by tho Third Ward in the Tabornncle, Thursday, Thurs-day, yesterday and todny, was a decided de-cided success. Tho meals were easily worth three times tho prices chnrged. Tho committee's explanation was that all that wont Into them was given free. Certainly they wero well cooked cook-ed nnd nttractlvely served. Tho programs pro-grams of music, readings and Instru-mcntnl Instru-mcntnl selections were pleasing and had much to do In drawing tho crowds. Each evening the festivals closed with n dnnce, worth tho prlco of tho meul, the concert nnd tho danco combined. Tho receipts wero quite satisfactory and will go toward paying off the Third Ward assessment on tho Stake Tabornncle. This afternoon ut 2 o'clock, a chll- , drcn's party will bo given, and nil children In town aro Invited. Thoro will bo supper again this evening. , |
