| Show MOAB WILL HAVE BOY SCOUT TROUP through the efforts of forest clerk L R chandler a boy scout troup has beep organized at moab this movement started in july and continuous effort has been put forth to secure members and get them through the necessary tests so they could affiliate with the national boy scouts of america last evening at a meeting in the forest office each boy paid the necessary dues for joining the national association C E bailey signed to become chairman of the troup with J T learning V P walker and dr J W williams making up the remainder of the committee L R chandler Is scoutmaster with ladue williams as assistant scoutmaster the boys who have thus far passed the test and are enrolled include mitchell williams alien jack walker pennan lopez emillo lopez jack learning glen nell and claron bailey any boy in town past 12 years of age Is eligible to become a member and a sincere invitation Is extended to all boys to affiliate as the cost Is small and the benefits large the cost Is 50 cents for a manual 50 cents to join the national association and 10 cents for a badge every boy who has joined to date has earned his own fees without having to call on the home purse J A elmer was an arrival satur day evening from los angeles calif for a visit here he states that the weather had been so disagreeable in california that he could not resist the temptation to return to sunny clime only to run into the most unusual weather moab has had in lt history but anyway oss cays he still thinks moab has the best climate in the I 1 S A |
