SURVEY OF UTAH FISHING WATERS TO BE undertaken for the further propagation of fish and the building up of scientific program of fish culture a survey will be made of all major fishing waters of the state this came about as a result of the convention of western fish and game conservation delegates at yellowstone park early this week utah was represented by J arthur mecham state commissioner D H madsen superintendent of the federal migratory bird refuge in the bear river bay ray thompson secretary of the salt lake sportsmen s association R H beckem district forester and william whitney superintendent of the state hatchery at studies will be carried on through utah streams and will consist of the potential fish carrying capacity of the streams as well as types of fish that can successfully be introduced and propagated additional species of fish may also be introduced according to mr mecham
