TOE NEW MONEY COMING WILL BUY JUST AS MUCH it wont be long now Just a matter of a few days until grand county citizens who are lucky enough to get hold of piece of paper money win find it considerably reduced in size the government has started the distribution trib ution of its newer and smaller treasury notes and almost before we know it the old size win have disappeared the times independent wishes it could assure everybody that the new bills even though smaller will buy still more but that isn t going to be the case and as tar as it knows they are going to be just as hard to get as the old ones were but it still remains the best money on earth and the most sought after uncle a saie several million dollars each year from the smaller issues in paper and printing costs since this Is a big item to taxpayers it should tn sure the new size a welcome and also check any complaint or objection that may arise over the change so long as the value is there the size Is of no consequence we should all make it a rule to strive honestly and legitimately to gather in our share to make them go as far as possible when we are spending them and to put by ft few as we are able against that rainy day when any kind of money no matter what its size or shape looks good and comes in very handy
