J Newman proposes to bring before the legislature legis- legis Mature lature ture in the form of a resolution asking congress to enact a lawf law f r the deportation of alien slackers When the United States entered the war two million men are said Vaid to have withdrawn their applications for citizenship and thus rendered themselves ineligible under the draft law These are now d dubbed bb d alien slackers They wouldn't fight for the United States they wouldn't even take the chance of being drafted they were c illing willing to reap the profits and enjoy the freedom to be gained by residence r residence in America but they sneaked out quickly when this country coun coun- tty try sought to call cat them to the colors j t We believe with Assemblyman Newman that we have no room 1 i i this country for Individuals of such ilk
