Show BISHOP DAVID COOK OF SYRACUSE IS DEAD OGDEN Jan 2 Bishop Bishop David Cook Sr one of ot Davis and Web Weber r counties' counties best known men died last ast evening at the residence of ot his daughter daugh daugh- ter Mrs l LeRoy Session Twenty- Twenty third street Bishop Cook had been ill for only one week and his death came as a result of a stroke of ot paral- paral sis The deceased was born in England England England En En- gland March 15 1846 and emigrated to Utah in 1853 The family lived in Salt Lake three years then moved to Bountiful where he lived until 1890 at which time he moved to Syracuse which had been his home honie prior to his death He lie was married to Hannah Holt who died In 1918 In 1881 he filled a mission for the Latter-day Latter Saints church and was bishop of at Syracuse Syracuse Syracuse Syra Syra- cuse for tor about nineteen years He was county commissioner of Davis Dais county for one term He lie was also a a director In the Farmers Farmers' union at Layton Layton Layton Lay- Lay ton and Layton Milling company and 1 Syracuse Mercantile cOn company pany Bishop Cook is survived by the tho following following fol to- fol- fol lowing children Mrs Thomas E.
