Show ; BINGHAM CENTRAL ! P-TA HOLDS LAST i MEETINGOF YEAR j Bingham Central School P-TA ;hcld its last meeting of the current cur-rent school year at the school i Wednesday evening, April 19. Election of officers wa.5 held with the iollowing elected to serve during 1950-51: Mrs. Etiiel Evans, president; Harold W. Nielsen, first vice president; Mrs. Phyllis Forsnes, second vice president; and Mrs. ; Kita Ugarte, secretary and treas-I treas-I urer. Mrs. Nona Carrigan, president presi-dent of Jordan district council P-TA, was installing officer. Guest speaker was Paul S. ! Rose, superintendent of the Salt Lake county recreation depart- I ment, who outlined the summer i recreation program for the Bingham Bing-ham area. Newly installed officers presented pre-sented Mrs. Esther James, outgoing out-going president with a past president's pre-sident's pin. Opening and musical numbers on the program included: pledge to the flag by Mrs. Violet Carter; prayer by Mrs. Becky Jones; objects ob-jects of the P-TA were given by Mrs. Charlotte Murano; piano solo "Dark Eyes" by JoAnn Spera; piano solo '"Sack Waltz" by Barbara Nelson; violin duet, "One Dozen Roses" by Kathy Zampos and Joan Arntola, accompanied ac-companied at the piano by Ellen Beth Thomas. Bingham Central P-TA will hold a bake sale in Utah Power & Light Co. office on Tuesday, April 25, starting al 2 p.m. BoosJer shots for Rocky Ml. spotted fever (tick) will be given giv-en at the Central school on Wednesday, April 26lh at 9:30 a.m. at a charge of 35 cents per person. There will be no series of tick shots given as previously previous-ly reported. Please mako registrations regis-trations with Nellie Chesler, Phyllis Forsnes, Rila Ugarte or at Evans Drugs by Saturday night, April 22. i - |
