E B. B I Palmer delightfully celebrated its fourth birthday with a I o'clock buffet luncheon today at the home of 01 Mrs Freeman reeman Bassett on South Twelfth East street The club colors heliotrope and gold were carried out In heliotrope sweet peas acacia jonquils jon jon- and quaint Scotch heather The living rooms roams were fragrant with low I bowls of sweet peas and the luncheon table was Centered with a large birthday birthday birth birth- day cake decorated in canary yellow I and burning five lilac Iliac colored tapers representing the four years wIth an I extra one to grow on Extending from I Ithe the cake were ribbon streamers in the lavender and yellow with place cards I for e each ch guest attached and surrounding surround surround- ing the cake was massed and I acacia with sprays of the heather At Atthe At J the close of the luncheon a round robin arranged by Mrs Palmer created created cre- cre I much merriment having for the subject the various short stories read J by the club since sinco its organization This was followed by a short witticism by I Mrs J. J M 1 Dart on the Precocious Child followed by a forecast Our Future by Mrs C. C D D.
