Thehl, a ts valine talesman of Denver, was today added to the already ' endless proceeding", when Albert Douglas, recently arrested on a charge of perjury on a complaint sworn to bv Dtehlf bejraa suit against Piehl in the thiTd district court for 0250 on grounds of defamation of character. ';' Douglas was charged with perjuring himself in the trial of tiladys Whitney, who was recently acquitted of the robbery, rob-bery, when he testified that two of the diamonds introduced into evidence were the property of hit sister in-law, Mrs. Julia Douglas. He was arrested on a complaint sworn to by Diehl, bnt was later disrharsed. Donelss bow alleges that Diehl falsely, wickedly and maliciously twore to the complaint against him, charging him with perjury. per-jury. Douglas seta out that he was imprisoned impris-oned in the county tail for a number of hours, to the injury of his credit and reputation in the community.
