The special committee held meeting this afternoon. Thev had lunch ana then they talked and thev were still talking at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon. . - There was a difference of opinion aa to the method that should, be followed in the selection of a committee that would aominat candidates for the November No-vember election. Home of the members of th special committee were in favor of naming a general committee of seventy sev-enty Ave to name the proposed candidate, candi-date, other members of the committee thought that each member should have the right to name seventy-five me and thia general committee of 80ft a committee com-mittee could he selected that would name the ticket that the voters of Salt 1ke City are expected to support on November 7. The committee of twelve, selected last night at a meeting of about sixty Democrats and Republicans held at the Commercial club, is composed com-posed of three Democrats and nine Be-publieana.
