Show P0ST0TF1CE CHIEFS FORM ASSOCIATION For In. purpose of promoting a batter understanding among ba supervisors of varioua departments In poetoffloes of tbe first and second clsss In Utah, the state Association of Supervisors of Employees of the First and Second Class waa formed at a meeting held In Salt Lake City last night, which was attended by employees of the poatofflces of Salt Lake Clly. Ogden, Logan and Prove. One of tha principal objects of tha organisation Is to promote harmony between be-tween the various employees of the postal service In Utah, so that by working work-ing together better service will ba given the public, than haa often been given In the paat. Where a alight mistake waa made by an employee In one office, tha man In another office either held up the mall pending an Inveetlgatloa or made a vigorous complaint. It la believed that through the new or-gantaatloa or-gantaatloa a better feeling and understanding under-standing will be had among the employee, em-ployee, of poatofflces of the first and second sec-ond class In Utah and that tbe public will be greatly benefited. Tha new organisation or-ganisation will hold meetings quarterly at various cities In tha state. The officers of-ficers elected at tha meeting kurt night, and Who will serve for tbe ensuing year, are: A. P. Kessler Salt I.ake City, president; A. M. Hodges, Ogden. vice president; W. H. Dueenberry. Provo, secretary sec-retary and treasurer. |
