Show MT LAKE TRUE CITY Of DESERET A huge swarm of hooey bees circled slowly westward ia First 8outh street at 11 o'clock this morning, seeking a place where thev might settle and start a new colony. Hundreds of bystanders wondered where the bees came from, and many men and women made frantic efforts to get out of the way. The bees espied aa old bay mare standing at tha curb just east of Main street on tha north side of First South street, and the short sighted leader of the migrating colony thought that the old mare 'a bead looked like a suitable place to found the new borne. Hundreds of bees settled on the sleeping bay mare 'a head and neck, but when one, venturesome insert crawled into tbei mare's ear it was too much. The mare hook her head and the bees started out to hunt for another likely home. Circling slowly across Main street in big. lazy spiral sweeps, the bees were at-traced at-traced by a big umbrella opened ovr the seat of a sleepy expressman, standing stand-ing just west of the Mam street tde-walk tde-walk line, on the north aide of First South street.
