"My mind waa rather paaalve on the queatlon," aaid Mr. Topping. "I saw no reaaon from any viewpoint to sell the property. From Mr. Schley'e viewpoint I could aee reaeons why he should want to aell, and I aided him at hla request to the extent of explaining to Lewis rasa Ledyard the advantages of the property. "In theae negotiations 1 did not represent repre-sent myself nor the Tenneaaee ayndlcatc. 1 merely waa explaining the property as a favor to Mr. Schley."
