Show UTJlil'SlKirHOHr COMING IS POPULAR Scores of Utah and Idaho people will leave tonight and tomorrow for St. George, Utah, to attend "I'Uh'i Dixie Homecoming." which will be held Hcp-temlK-r 13, 1-1 and lo, in honor of the first pioneers who settled n Wahinu.n county fifty' years ago. The people of St. trforge'and the oth.r towns in the county have made elaborate prepin-tions prepin-tions for the entertainment of those who are expected to be present. Fruit of various kinds is promised in plenty and without cost. A varied program pro-gram will be given each of tbe three days. The trains will lie met at Modena on the Halt Lake route by teams from Ht. Ueorgo and other towns and ample transportation facilities are promised. In order to aecommodate the Iarire number num-ber who are known to be going, the 8a It Lake route will put on extra equipment equip-ment on its trains today and tomorrow. A number of Idaho people arrived in Halt Lake t'itv this morning and will leave for Rt. tieorge tonight. The majority ma-jority of the Rait Lake City people who are going will not leave 'until tomorrow to-morrow night. The various railroad companies have made a reduced rate for the occasion of "llomecoming" day. |
