Show SALT. LAKERS MAY TRAVEL III COMFORT - " T Efforts of the Commercial Club to Secure Pullman Service Successful. After months of work the Coramer rial club of Salt Lake City has won its first point on special sleeping rat service from this city. For a long time the club has been working with the various railroad companies to have a sleeping car service to and from this city suck aa some of the other west- rn cities have. The flrst response to their petition comes from the Western PaciOf in a telegram which was received re-ceived this morning by Joseph K. ("nine, secretary of the club, signed by K. L; !,omsx, passenger traffic manager at the Western PaciMe. Mr. I.nmsi announces an-nounces that effective nest Friday . night the Western Pacific will earrv a Salt Ijike car to Han Krsncisro. The car will be"'sel out4' ef n 0I"loe1t Tetr-night, Tetr-night, readv for passengers to enter and occupy their berth". The car will be attached to the Weeteru Pacirle train which leaves Salt Lake t'ity at . 1 :1ft a. m. and arrives at Han Kranrieeo at H:10 o'clock the frllowing morning. On Kept em her 24 the. Western Pacirle Pa-cirle will put an a Kilt Ike car from Kan Francisco, thus giving the people of the two cities a through csr wrv-ico wrv-ico without any .interference with the transcontinental business. This is the first Kalt lke car to be attached to any through train, and the improvement in service which will le followed by the addition of a 8ilt Lake csr on eastbound cars from the coast in . result of work of the Commercial club, which begsn at the time of the convention con-vention of transcontinental passenger agents at Kalt Lake last June.
