Show JEROME WILL ASK JURORS ABOUT THE ATTEMPT TO BRIBE NEW YORK. April 20. District Attorney Attor-ney Jerome will question several of the Thaw trial Jurors In his office today relative rela-tive to the alleged attempt by a policeman police-man to Influence them while they were deliberating. The supposed knowledge of the Incident possessed by Messrs. Denee, Newton and Pfaff of the Jury, Is said to be what the District Attorney wishes to obtain. No suspicion whatever attaches to any of the Jurors. Jerome merely seeks to learn If the policeman really did wrong, and If so. to have him punished. Pfaff is out of the city, but Newton and Denee are here. The Jurors, with the exception possibly of Pfaff. will meet tonight at the Broadway Broad-way Central hotel to have a dinner and talk over the sleepless nights they spent at the Jury-room. |
