Show MURRAY ROBBERS HAD WEAKNESS FOR GUNS AND BOOZE Burglars were busy In Murray In the early hours of yesterday, robbing a grocery gro-cery store and two saloons. The robberies' were not discovered until several hours later, and until last night Marshal Mauss of the smelter town used every effort to locate the offenders. None of the places was broken open, and It is believed that the robbers had keys with which to gain entrance. From the saloon of Bert Linton the thieves took $48 In cash, a shotgun and about a dozen bottles of whisky. From the saloon of Nels Nelson they secured $56 In cash, a shotgun and more whtsky. From the meat and grocery store of Lawrence Williams 25 cents In cash, a ring valued at $20 and a quantity of groceries were stolen. So far there is no clue to the Identity of the robbers. |
