The Opohonio's output waa kept at about two car a week for several months, but unless there are new ore developments de-velopments tha mine will be unable to ahlp that amount of ore In the future. Last week the mine waa absent from the shipping list but this week Superintendent Superinten-dent Cox billed out two cars of very fair copper ore. The present tonnage, or a good portion of It, Is coming from the old stopea above the S00. and there la atlll soma ore In sight on the 7M. although al-though It Is of rather low grade, according accord-ing to the Eureka Reporter. The Opohongo people have a great deal 'of fafrh fn the upper portion of their! ground, which they propose to develop from the main tunnel level of the Oold Chain. It will take some little time, perhaps per-haps two months, to reach tha point where tha ore ahould be located In that part of the property. Uncle Sim LlMIM. Eight blocks of ground In the Uncle Ham mine are being worked under the leasing system, and according to Superintendent Super-intendent Origga. these leasees are taking out a very nice tonnage of lead ore. Laat week the mine waa on the market with a couple of caxa and tha output for the present week will amount to about 150 or 200 tons. ZMa ore Is being sent to the International smelter at Tooele and that portion fit the mine's output which cannot be taken to the aurface through the Beck Tunnel mine, and thereby loaded upon the car of tha Knight railroad, la being hauled to the San Pedro railway at Eureka. Eu-reka. In the peat moat of the Uncle Sam and May Day ore haa been sent out over the Rio Grande railway, but where shipment ship-ment Is made to Tooele It Is a much Leasing- In Tlnttc.
