Show BLOCKS EFFORT TO HELP FRIEDMANN WASHINGTON, April 17. An effort ef-fort to secure immediate action on a bill permittiop Dr. K. K. rViedroann to practice medicine in Washington without with-out undergoing the usual examination for aliens was frustrated today. Senators Sen-ators UalHnger and Penrose both objected ob-jected to immediate action. "I don't want to pronounce this man a faker," declared Senator Penrose, Pen-rose, "but 1 think the senate is going go-ing out of its way to advertise him. He may he s quack for all I know. I have spec if i' information that many reputable men in tbe medical profession profes-sion look with doubt anon his claims and medical journals criticise the government gov-ernment for the semiofficial recognition recogni-tion it has given him." |
