The city attorney office lias looked carefully into the law and believes that tbe city h the right to limit the number num-ber of saloon. If t he ordinance it passed, it will not be made effective until Januar I. 1911. In the mean time the police lepartment will keep a clone check on all saloons now operating, op-erating, and those deemed undesirable will he refused license renewals.
