MeCIellan, tabernacle, or Kanist, who has been in Kurope for th laat six months studying under some of the ablest living masters of music, returned to the city last night, accompanied accom-panied by hi son, Douglas McClellan, who has been with his father on the trip. "I return invigorated and refreshed, mentally and physically, ' ' said Mr. McClellan today. "The trip was of wonderful advantage to me and I feel like a new man. The opportunities I had could not have been excelled, nd Z feel that I hav never before been able to do the work that I will now be able to accomplish "Mich a trip is of inestimable valne in an artistic sense, it gives on so much broader a view 1 hope that my work will show that I hav not been idle. "After all I am glad indeed to be home again bom among my friends and all thoe who ar dar to me. Re- Sirdlee of the beauties of Kurope, ar is a charm in this valley that makea it dearer to me thau the age old capital of Europe, rich a they ar in historic lor and musical associations." Mr. McClellan aays that he hope to make a return trip to Berlin two rears hence, and that if this is possible he will be able by reason of his associations associa-tions there on his last trip, to do oven better and accomplish more than he was able to accomplish on this trip. He is ia excellent health and had a delightful voyage. |
