Show ments after the swini. A district Girl Scout meeting was held Monday night at the Civic Center at 8 o'clock. Miss Pat Dougal, field director from Salt Lake gave instruction on badge work for the troops. Hostesses Hos-tesses for the evening were Irma Nilsson. Violet Carter and Roberta Ro-berta Johnston. Others present were Bernice Laycock, Ruth KidJ, Phyllis Forsnes. Harriet Bolton, Agnes Steele, Rita Ug-arte, Ug-arte, Ruth Sanchez, Charlotte Mur'ano, Emily Ablett and Ethel Evans. Refreshments were served. ser-ved. On Thursday night, November 2, the following Girl Scout leaders lead-ers and senior Girl Scouts attended atten-ded the fall training class in the Red Feather building in Salt Lake City: Ruth Kidd, Charlotte IMurano, Violet Carter, Irma Nil-l.ssi.n. Nil-l.ssi.n. Emily Ablett. Yvonne Wil-ley, Wil-ley, Pat Ablett, Sally Brown and Janet Bolton. They learned many new things in arts and crafts and this very useful information will be used in their troops this w inter in-ter and in the program planning tor day camp next Spring. o GIRL SCOUTS" Last Monday night Troop 79 enjoyed a swimming party at Wasatch Springs in Salt Lake City. Girl Scouts attending the party were Mary Jane Reynolds, Ann Marie Deakin, Sherri Peterson, Peter-son, Barbara Nelson, Patricia Nelson, Patsy Dickson, Jane Nelson, Mane Lovat, Karen Bell, Connie Bianchi and Rose Mary Arritola. Leaders attending were Mrs. Rita Ugarte, Mrs. Genevieve Moulton and Mrs. Ethel Evans. The troop wish to thank Lucille Bianchi, Gale Moulton and Ralph Evans for providing cars for the trip.
