By a compromise. com-promise. 110.650.000 waa voted for army aviation as compared with $l,20o.00 provided by the bouse and 123.000.000 voted by the senate. The senate amendment appropriating f7.000.000 for new airplanes waa reduced re-duced to fO.000.000. and the aenata appropriation ap-propriation of i. 000.000 for experimental experi-mental and research work with alr-planea alr-planea was reduced to 14.300.000.
