Hawkins B-Ylh-Delegation-Leaves-For World Relations Meet PROVO Six members of Brigham Young university's International In-ternational Relations club and Arthur Gaeth, instructor In political po-litical science, left here Thursday for Colorado Springs, Colo, to attend the annual convention of Rocky Mountain International Internation-al Relations clubs being held this week end. Included in the party were' Wayne L. Sorensen, president of the local club; Mas Yano, Ivan Nelson, Phil Gauchay. Clifford Westenskow and William B. Hawkins. Haw-kins. Mr. Sorensen wfll be chairman of the round table discussion on "Problems of Immigration," and Mr. Westenskow will present a paper at this session; Mr. Yano and Mr. Gauchay are slated to present pre-sent papers oa "Democracy In Crisis ;" Mr. Hawkins will participate partici-pate In the discussion on "A Pro posed Tresty of Peace for Europe," and Mr. Nelson In the disrussion on "Neutrality Legislation," Mr. Gaeth said. Featured speskers at the meet will be Amy Hemingway Jones, executive secretary of International Interna-tional Relations clubs; Dr. Jean Pejus, lecturer on. International relations at .University of California, Cali-fornia, and Bertram W. Maxwell, professor of political science and International relations at Washburn Wash-burn College, Topeka, Kan. |
