Salt Lakers trot all over the country, but home looks pretty good to them after all and, now that wfhter's coming on, most of them are scurrying home to settle down to the season's business. Back from Great Falls. Mont., Is Miss Eleanor (Tiny) Story. 105 East South Temple street, who's spent most of the summer ga levanting le-vanting from the North Fork club to Great Falls, which she thinks is a wonderful place. She's already talking about tripping down to San Francisco, where she'd like to find a job and anchor for a while. Looking very chipper, Mrs. Franklin L. Gibson has come back from her favorite visiting spot, Los Angeles. She hails from that city, so it's home to her. Then, too, her mother, Mrs. Frank F. Peard, lives there and that's a big drawing card. Miss Alice Dirk has been home with her mother, Mrs. J. C. Dick, 1158 First avenue, for about two weeks and she's already saying she'd rather like to go back to Chicago again. She attended the University of Chicago winter, spring and summer quarters, studying social service work, and it so intrigued her she'd rather like to study some more. Not all travelers are Salt Lakers, for Californians seem to do pretty well at that game themselves. Mr. and Mrs. Howard J. Person have come from Oakland to visit Mrs. Person's parents, the Mayne Reads, 1623 Vale avenue. Mrs. Person Per-son is the former Miss Phyllis Read. Also visiting here from California Califor-nia is Miss Gladys French, who flew up Sunday from Berkeley. She's visiting her aunt, Mrs. Arthur Ar-thur E. Dangerfield. 924 Third avenue, and her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. French, 68 M street. |
