McNutt, director of the federal security admlnls- I tration Frank McHale, Democratic Demo-cratic national committeeman of Indiana was In Salt Lake City Tuesday to confer with Utah Democratic Dem-ocratic leaders. Mr. McHale, who asserts the former high commissioner of the Philippines will run "against any and all candidates except President Presi-dent Roosevelt," conferred with A. S. Brown, Democratic national ' committeeman for Utah, and other I Utah party leaders, but obtained no pledge for support of Mr. Mc- 1 Nutt. Predicting a Democratic victory In 1940, Mr. McHale said McNutt will be the choice of the Democratic Demo-cratic party In 1940, with only a little "trouble" from boosters of Vice President John N.
