Show Mrs. D. R. Coombs Gives Large Tea For Two Visitors A lovely affair of Thursday afternoon aft-ernoon was the large tea given bv Mrs. D. R. Coombs at her home, 318 Twelfth East street. In honor of her mother, Mrs. John Holt, and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Roger H. Coombs of Los Angeles, who will be her guests for another week. Assisting in the general enter tainment was Mrs. WiUard Hsn- son and presiding at the tea table were Mrs. John L. Nuttsll Jr, Mis. James T. Wuilluu. Mia. A. N. Hanson. Mrs. Miles E. Miller. Mrs. Marion Orr Rudlne, Mrs. William Leroy Smith. Mrs. E O. Lealherwood, Mra Lester D. Freed and Mrs. Charles D. Anderson. Mrs. J. O. Giesy was in charge of the dining room. Assisting In serving were Mrs. Moroni H. Brown. Mrs. Edward J. Moreau, Mrs. George Plerson, Mis. Fiederlck A. Sweet Jr. and Mrs. Stewart M. Hanson. The tea table was attmetlvsly decorated with a centerpiece of Madonna lilies and white snsp-dragona. snsp-dragona. and lighted white taper in silver candelabra were at each end of the table. |
