Show MATRON'S BODY OH VAYTO S. L. Mrs. Bamberger's Rites Wait Relatives Clarence Bamberger and Major and Mrs. Charles J. Allen were due in Salt Lake City late Thursday afternoon from Los Angeles with the body of thjlr mother, Mrs. Bertha Greenewald Bamberger, who died unexpectedly Wednesday In ths coast city. Another son, Ernest Bamberger, was expected to arrive in Salt Lake City from San Francisco some time Thursday afternoon. Members of the Bamberger family fam-ily in Salt Lake City said that funeral plans will be made immediately imme-diately upon arrival - of, the two sons and daughter. Mrs. Bamberger, who was 61 years old and had celebrated her birthday birth-day at the Union Pacific Golden Spike day, April 25, was widely known for her philanthropic work in and about Salt Lake City. A widow of J. E. Bamberger and sister-in-law of ths late Governor Simon Bamberger, shs had attained a preeminent position In Salt Lake City social circles. She was a charter member of the Salt Lake county Red Cross and was an early worker in the Children's Service society, so-ciety, and had engaged in countless count-less charity functions. |
