C James, licensee at the first named address, and told commissioners that the offense of which three men recently had been found guilty and sentenced In district dis-trict court happened before Mr. James operated the place, A similar representation was mads by Attorney Karl King, representing repre-senting Evelyn Dickey, licensee at 437 West Broadway. It varied to the extent, however, that Miss Dickey Dick-ey was one of those found guilty in district court of violating ths liquor law. The offense of which she was found guilty happened, though, before be-fore the present Ucenee had been granted, Mr. King claimed. Upon those representations, commissioners com-missioners referred the James and Dickey cases back to the police department de-partment The license at 449 Esst Broadway was revoked on the ground that William Walker had been convicted of selling beer to Juveniles.
