Mrs. Ray L Taylor and Mr. Taylor, Tay-lor, who were married In the morning morn-ing in the Bait Lake City L. D. 8. temple by David O. McKay, second counselor In the first presidency of the church, received their friends st a brilliant reception Wednesday Wednes-day evening at the Hyrum Jensen Jen-sen home on Highland drive. The bride, who waa the former for-mer Betty Nelson, wore a coraage of orchids and lilies of the valley and was surrounded by her maid of honor, her suiter, Fays Nelson, and her bridesmaids, Miss Catherine Cather-ine Baldwin. Miss Norma Kuns. Miss Mary Twelves and Miss Barbara Bar-bara Green, who were all frocked alike in black velvet robes de style with sequin cape and black starched veils. Their arm bouquets were of white roses. Larry Summerhaya acted as beat man for the bridegroom and Keith Taylor. Ralph Knight. Bert Bram-well Bram-well and S. Richard Nelson were the ushers. Th bridal party received In front of the mantel, which waa banked with ferns and floor baskets filled with autumn flowers in pastel shades were at each side. After a short wedding trip Mr. Taylor and his bride will make their home in' Salt Lake City. For traveling trav-eling the bride rhoas a smart green crepe dress with a green coat trimmed with mink.
