Show K. G. TO HONOR CHURCHLEADER Dinner Fete Planned for Kearney The Most Rev. Jamea E. Kearney. D.D., retiring bishop of the Catholic diocese of Salt Lake and bishop-designate bishop-designate of the Rochester, N. Y , diocese, will be given a farewell dinner by fourth degree members of Knights of Columbus at the Alta club at 7 p. m. Tuesday. The dinner will be a highlight of the Columbu day observance. About 100 fourth degree Knights from all parts of' the state are expected. ex-pected. Judge Roger I. McDonough. master mas-ter of the fourth degree, will pay tribute to Bishop Kearney in behalf of the laity. Other speakers will be Harvey Cahill of Ogden, state deputy dep-uty of the Knight of Columbus; the Rt. Rev. Monsignor D. G. Hunt, bishop-designate of the Salt Lake diocese, and Bishop Kearney. |
