Show EASTERN STAR SESSION OPENS With more than 300 delegates, II Utah chapters ef the Order of Eastern East-ern Star were repreaented Thuraday Thura-day at annual convention opening at tha Masonic temple. Visitors attended from O. E. 8. chapter In Wyoming, Idaho, Texas. Washington, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Pennsyl-vania, Colorado, Kansas, California and Montana. Opening assembly was at 10 a. m. Greeting to officers were extended by Mra. Frances V. Bader, Junior past grand matron, and Harrier S. Culp, Junior past grand patron, and officer entered In the traditional garb of the order. Meet Launched Mrs. Effle B. Langston. Salt Lake City, worthy grand matron, opened the session. Ureetlngi to the convention were given by Mra. Langston and Alexander Alex-ander Blight of Eureka, worthy grand patron. Reports were given by each of them and convention business waa taken up. Luncheon followed, and at 1:30 p. m. a second aeaalon waa hHd, with preaentatlon of reports of the grand secretary, grand treasurer, grand lecturer and credential committee. com-mittee.
