Show MURDER TRIAL WAITSVENIRE PRICE Already serving a life term In the state prison for the econd degree murder of one victim of a double slaying at Ferron In August, l3e,- Hugh Wayman was In the Carbon county Jail Tuaeday awaiting reaumptlon Wedneadav 0 efforts to sscure a Jury to try him In the Emery county court at Castle Dale on a charge of murder in the first degree. He was previously tried on a flrat degree charge of killing Sheriff Will Black, who had intervened In a quarrel between Wayman and Le-roy, Le-roy, Black over water rights. Ths Jury brought In a guilty verdict on the reduced charge, and the state now seeks Wayman's Ufa for slaying slay-ing Lsroy Black, who was no relation rela-tion to the late sheriff. The ease began last week and was adjourned Friday until Wednea-day Wednea-day of this week when the regular jury panel for the term and one apecial" venire were exhausted. Attorneys At-torneys will try whsn ths case reopens re-opens to obtsin a jury from a second special venire.
