Word of the death at Camp Mills, Long Island, of their son, Iavid lay, was contained In a telegram tele-gram received today by Mr. and Mrs. Jamea 1 ay of Iayton. .It is their un-derstsnding un-derstsnding that their son died of Injuries In-juries received in a railroad wreck near Chicago ten daya ago. The young man was 22 years of age and had resided In I -ay ton ail his life until he entered the service three months ago and went to Camp Fremont. Cal. Besides Be-sides his parents he leaves the following follow-ing brothers and sisters: William Isy, who ia In training at ths Presidio In San Francisco: Mrs. Joseph Johnson of Irics, Mrs. Leonard Handall, Vera. Ada, Glenn, Joseph and Richard Day. all of Iayton. The body will be sent to Lay ton lor burial. . |
