Show New Year's Day Marks 62 Years of Wedded Life for Salt Lake Couple Married in Iowa New Year's day marked 62 years of married life for Mr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Cason, 151 Flowers court. The couple, residents in many western areas during their married mar-ried life, will observe the anniversary anniver-sary with a daughter, Miss May Cason. Married In Madison county, Iowa, they have their original marriage license. After residing a short time in Iowa, the couple moved to Nebraska, Ne-braska, where they "proved up" land. "Those were the happiest years of all." Mrs. Caon said. "About the only thing Dad possessed was a good team and we lived in a K sod house wth earthen floors, but we lad our youth and happiness." Later the couple moved to Alberta. Al-berta. Canada, where they made theif home until 1919. Mr. Cason was a farmer and stockraiser. M '. and Mrs. Cason moved to Salt Lake City in August, 1939. "It M a different place from the one I saw 52 years ago," Mr. Cason said. |
