STAFF i MEMBER DIES LOGAN Mr. Frances Maughan Vernon, a member of the English department at tha Utah State Agricultural Agri-cultural college and wife of Weiton Vernon, prominent Logan real estate man, former legislator and former member of the board of trustee at Utah State Agricultural college, died at her home Thursday at 8 a. m. of a heart ailment Mra. Vernon was active in cMc affairs and in political activities throughout the state. She was a former president .of the Utah Federation Fed-eration of Women's Clubs and at one time served as national com-mitteewoman com-mitteewoman for tha Democratic party. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons and four daughters. The family home Is at 123 East Second North street, Logan.
