Wagner. Mrs. Wagner and Billy AgriculturistMakes New Home in S. L. Difficult It was for Mr. and Mrs. Fay A. Wagner, 1466 Ninth East street, to pull up stakes In their former home of Garden City. Kansas, and come west, for three members of their family stayed behind, while two children' came to Salt Lake City with them. Mr. and Mrs. Wsgner and two of their children, Mary Louise, 16, and Billy, 8, have been In Salt Lake City, about two H,.i months. Mr. I Vteer Wagner, em-tht em-tht ployed by the soli conservation de- FolkS psrtment of the United States department de-partment of agriculture, travels in many parts of Utah. Agriculture has been the life work of Mr. Wagner. Before coming com-ing to Utah he was with the Kansas state experiment station In Garden Gar-den City. After his graduation from college in New Mexico, he moved to Texas, where he was sta tioned at the experiment station of that state. While In Kansas he was concerned con-cerned with determining the best crops for the arid sections of that state. Since moving to Utah he has been Inoculated for Rocky mountain spotted fever, something he didn't have to worry about In Kansas. A married son and daughter remained re-mained in Kansas, and another son, Robert, is a student of agronomy agron-omy at Kansas State college. Mary Louise is a student at East high school. Mr. Wagner Is a member of the Masonic order. Aside from his work, he enjoys fishing and hunting |
