Show Coast Guard Family Finds Our Mountains Steep s. w 1 w''j Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Chapnlck. 825 Logan avenue, and their four children Bruce, 4; June, 6; Jacqueline, 14, and Frandne, It, have been In Salt Lake City for three weeks, coming from Boston, Mass. But, because Mr. Chapnlck has been with th coast guard and navy for 20 years, the family has had quit a bit ffiat of travel expert- ence. This 1 FOIKS their first time In the mountains, however, -and Mrs. Chapnlck is "somewhat" afraid of -them. The family attempted a trip to Alta Sunday, but experienced difficulty dif-ficulty with th steep grade. Mr. Chapnlck, however, expects to climb some near-by mountain during the summer. "It won't be any small mountain, either," he said. Fran cine Is a student at South high school, Jacqueline Is at Lincoln Lin-coln high school and 6-year-old June likes her school, th Hawthorne, Haw-thorne, because she has to attend classes only half a day rather than the full day required In Boston.
