Show S. L. Man Ldsl in Snake River Search for the body of a Salt Laks City business man, Waldo B. Martin, 64, 1001 Military 4r continued con-tinued Thursday in ths Snake river near Idaho Falls, Ida, where Mr. Martin waa believed to have drowned Wednesday while fishing. Mr. Martin and his 10-year-old son, John Martin, and James Russell, Rus-sell, Travis Russell and Mickey Bendixssn of Idaho Falls had gona to ths river early Wednesday for a fishing trip, according to sheriffs officers. When the boat from which they were fishing struck a log and capsized cap-sized the other four reached shore safely, but Mr. Martin was not found. Wednesday's search proved fruitless. Peterson Hardware Co, where he had been employed sine 1913. He was an enthuaiaat of hunting, fishing- and golf. la 1920 he married Edna Goldberg Gold-berg m Salt Lake City. Beside hla widow and mother, he la survived by two sons, .Waldo Blaine and John M. Martin, and a brother, Harold J. Martin, all of Salt Lake City. |
