' j . - A special entrance leading from the street direct to the gallery has been constructed, and at the door of the entrance en-trance Is a separate ticket office for seats in the gallery. None but reserved seats will be sold hereafter at the main box office and ingress to parquette, the dress circle and the first balcony will be from the main entrance, the same as heretofore. The .finishing touches are now being given to the work, which will all be completed by tonight. Next Monday night the Warde The management of the Grand theater thea-ter during the past few weeks has been making some Improvements In the interior in-terior of the building whereby the seating seat-ing capacity of the theater will be Increased In-creased by nearly 500 seats. There have also been made extensive regain to the scenery- and the stage. On the ' main floor the arches under the first balcony have been removed and Iron pillars put In which makes room for fifty additional addi-tional chairs in the parquette. . The changes made upstairs have doubled the seating capacity of the gallery. A wall has been removed whereby the seats are built ud to the top of the third floor. The gallery will now comfortably com-fortably accommodate 800 persons, whereas formerly only half, that number num-ber could be seated. A splendid view of the stage car be obtained from any seat in the gallery, and the ventilation has been greatly improved. - Patrons of the gallery will also appreciate ap-preciate another improvement that has been made for their comfort by Jones & Hammer. On the second floor, leading lead-ing off from the gallery two large refreshment re-freshment and smoking rooms have been fixed up, where those who so desire de-sire may repair between acta. |
